Haiti - Rural Health Diagnostics Haiti suffers from a high incidence of HIV/Aids, Syphilis and similar endemic diseases due to extremely limited resources, poor infrastructure and poverty. The Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) is actively supporting local hospitals, diagnostics centres and research to reduce incidence and save more lives in this extremely difficult environment.
